This game was created for Spooktober Visual Novel Jam 2023!

A playthrough of the game will take about 15 - 20 minutes. 

Content warning: The game contains depictions of blood, references to murder and silhouettes of violence. The art style of the game is cartoony and nothing looks realistic. 

Controls: Use the mouse cursor to click on where you want to go and to interact with objects. When you have to choose what to say in a conversation click on the option you want to choose. (It is possible to use the arrow keys and Z instead of using the mouse, but keep in mind that the game was designed around using the mouse).

Press right on the mouse to pause the game (you can save and adjust the game volume there).

Endings: The game has 2 endings. The decisions you make while playing the game won't directly change the ending but they will impact your understating of the story and the characters, which will also impact your decision at the end of the game. (You can save the game anytime, but before the ending the save screen will pop up so you can save the game and experience the second ending without having to replay the game).

Is the game part of the Bilo universe? Yes! The game takes place in the Bilo universe and has some connections to characters that will appear in future projects. There is no need to know anything about Bilo to enjoy the game, but if you are interested in the lore you can play Bilo: Essenol.
